Michael Nutt (PRIEST
/ REPORTER / HARD HAT)
| Michael has been onstage for a
good part of his life, embracing the remarkably
respectable role of professional musician. His
performance as Classicano in Blue
Angelica changed all that. Mr. Nutt now
intends to pursue a second career - that of
thespic highwayman. Driven as he is in his golden
years to the resin bag of the soul, and the
subtle glissando of the verbal fugue, Michael has
cast aside bow and chin pad to take up amusing
shoes and the odd codpiece, not to mention
onstage acrobatics and comedic posturing - all in
the pursuit of some sort of bronze statuette or
tin navel plug. Other life roles include a
practiced (and apparently inexhaustible) Don Juan
at the delicate age of seven; a cowboy in his
teens; a music college lay - about in his 20's;
and a concert violinist with the L.A.
Philharmonic for the next 30 years. |
