 This fine repast of fair cuisine was shared with me by my daughter and her

 Our first stop was at the
Lion Club's booth for an ear of fresh corn heavily buttered. |

 Our next stop was at the
Island County Democrats booth. The booth was full of pleasant, honest working people. |

 There we purchased a baked
potato with sour cream, chili, and cheese. Yummy. |
|
 This
was the most difficult part of the meal. We had to go to the Island County Republican's
booth for ice cream. |
|
 This was an ice cream bar on a stick that is dipped in hot chocolate that
forms a chocolate skin that is then rolled on a bed of broken peanuts. The smiling women
is a Republican. She looks pleasant. It's all a sham. |

 Since one dessert is
definitely not enough it was off to the South Whidbey Rotary... |

 for Strawberry shortcake. This was actually strawberries and ice cream on a
bed of shortcake. Really yummy. |
