Zoe's Birthday April
27, 2007
| Zoe's Birthday
started out with a play at the Primary School that our Grandson Mike
was in. |

After the
play we took Mike home for some of Zoe's Birthday cake. I made her
a Coale chocolate cake. It's sort of a running family joke. When my
mom made the first birthday cake for her new husband, my dad, he asked
for a chocolate cake. So she made a chocolate cake with chocolate
frosting. Wrong! My dad's idea of a chocolate cake was a yellow cake
with chocolate frosting. I'm afraid I did the same thing to Zoe when
she made me my first cake. The 4 candles to the side of the cake are
actually battery powered. Mike saw them on the counter, turned them
on and placed them next to the cake. Zoe doesn't eat products with
partially hydrogenated oils it them. Most cake mixes have them. I
found one that doesn't: Dr. Oetker
vanilla cake mix and chocolate frosting mix. It's organic so it must
be good for you. It sure tasted good.

| Mike took
this picture. He doesn't have the holding the camera steady doing
a slow exposure down. |

| We met Mike's
mom, Katie (on the right) at Mike's Place, in Langley, for dinner
along with my son Robby and Hannah. A good time was had by all. |
