06-16-02 Father's Day Portrait Scans

We went down to Mike's Place for a Father's Day breakfast but it turned out to not be an original idea. There was no way that Mikey and Robyn would sit still long enough to get served so Katie and Jenny swung by Payless and bought some breakfast food. Robby, Katie, and Jenny cooked up the best Father's day breakfast I've ever had.

After eating, I subjected them to having their portraits scanned. "Do we have to do this, Dad?" "Yes, it's Father's Day!" It turned out to be great fun. Even Mikey and Katie had to get in on it.

All these pictures are done with a scanner. Everyone just put their face on the glass. The scanning is done by a travelling strip that takes 17 seconds to move from one side to another, so any movement causes strange things to happen.

Jenny, Katie, and Robby are my kids, Robyn is Jenny's daughter, Mikey is katie's son, and Zoe is my LOML.

This is my family. They're weird.
