Wrist
straps are usually used as insurance and are used for hanging the
camera only infrequently. However, there are times when it's useful
to hang the camera from the wrist strap. Wrist pads are 1"
wide and 8 3/4" long. The edges are beveled. They are the same
leather as the straps. Adding a wrist pad to your wrist strap makes
this more comfortable.
Wrist pads
are available on lug-mount
and tripod-mount wrist straps.
The wrist pad will not thread pass through the attaching string
of string-mount wrist straps and so is not available for them.
Wrist pads
can be added as an option when purchasing wrist straps. Wrist pads
are an additional US$13 over the price of the wrist strap.
