My lug-mount wrist traps generally do not have a problem with the split-ring coming in contact with the camera body but this not true of all cameras. I have three types of strap bumpers: the O-Ring Strap Bumper, the Octagonal Strap Bumper, the Integral Strap Bumper. These are for use with wrist straps and neck straps that use a split-ring to attach to a lug mount. The are made of the same latigo hide that the straps are made of but they have been thinned. The O-Ring Strap Bumper and the Octagonal Strap Bumper can be purchased with or without a strap but the Integral Strap Bumper can only be purchased with a strap since it is part of the strap. |
| O-ring Strap Bumper |

This is the simplest and most elegant strap bumper solution. It is the same neoprene o-ring that is used on the wrist strap. It is very effective. I'm afraid I can't take credit for this. I spent hours working on developing the Octagonal Strap Bumper and I proudly showed it to my wife, Zoe. She looked at it and said "Why don't you just put the o-ring on the strap around where the split-ring attaches?", or something like that. They are $1 each.

| Octagonal Strap Bumper |

The Octagonal Strap Bumper just slides over the lug and then the split-ring is attached to the lug. This works for both neck straps and wrist straps but I think it is best suited for wrist straps. They are $4 each.

| Integral Strap Bumper |

The Integral Strap Bumper has the strap looping through it before wrapping. Then the strap is wrapped making it part of the strap. I think this works best for neck straps but it also works well with wrist straps. They are $4 each and can be ordered with a neck strap or wrist strap. |  |
