Actually, I figured it all out, the only reason that these horrible things are being allowed without extreme protest and outrage by the people, is because of the "pod people", it's the only explaination that makes sense. It was quite quite fortunate that the latter version of the film "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" as on to enlighten moi.
